Raspberry Roodles and Blackberry Bears

Raspberry Roodles and Blackberry Bears
Live on the mountain
and hang out in pairs

The Roodles are red and bears have black hair
They really look different
but neither one cares

Raspberry Roodles dance and plant flowers
wrap things in green bows
play in rain showers

While Blackberry Bears skip and sing loud
wrap things in pink bows
ride a rain cloud

Both of them happy and this you can see
So look really close
in a plumnickle tree

Little ones came from this wonderful match
time to grow happy
and one day did hatch

Blackberry Roodles and Raspberry Bears
the sweetest thing found
on earth anywhere

About me

About me
My name is Allison and I am a social worker helping special needs children in the Appalachian Mountain region of Tennessee and Virginia. I guess you could call me a hillbilly since we live in the mountains. When I have some spare time, I work on the BabySparkles and their story.

BabySparkle Sparklegraphs

The baby sparkles use their lights differently than the common on-off blinking of the standard firefly.
They sign complex patterns that are called sparklegraphs. These sparkgraphs are examples of their emotions, their names, and the things they like to do.
